The growing demand for healthier cooking appliances and the Government of India's Make in India initiative created the opportunity to develop a fully indigenized premium air fryer. The objective was to reduce import dependency while delivering world-class performance, manufacturing efficiency and design flexibility for the Indian market.
EDL collaborated with E-pack Durables to design, engineer and develop India's first indigenized air fryer. From industrial design and product engineering to functional prototyping, tooling, vendor development and cost optimization, the solution combined innovative airflow technology, localized manufacturing and scalable engineering for high-quality production.

Measurable Impact
